The Eastside Sexual Health Project
A walk-in, non-appointment service for young people in London. You can access pregnancy testing, family planning advice and contraception (including condoms and emergency contraception). You can also be tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea, and you'll receive information before the test and treatment afterwards if it's positive.

Drop in advice
Sexual health clinic for young people 13 - 19 offering advice, testing and basic contraception. Educational workshops around self-esteem and basic physiology are run separately for girls and for boys.

The Haven - Whitechapel

The Women's Library is a cultural centre housing the most extensive collection of women's history in the UK. Access is free and open to everyone, with no age restrictions for young people. there are no age restrictions for young people who wish to visit. The Reading Room works like a library - registration is free, and can be made online or by requesting a form. The collection cover a variety of topics, such as women's rights, suffrage, sexuality, health, education, employment, reproductive rights, the family, and the home. The emphasis is primarily on women in Britain, but some international material is included.

Tower Hamlets Multi Agency Preventative (MAP) Project
Working to help Bangladeshi boys in three targeted schools who are under-achieving and seen as being at risk of developing mental health problems. This is a multidisciplinary team consisting of youth workers, social workers and clinical psychologists, all working together to address issues of emotional wellbeing.

Concert wind band offering instrument loan and tuition, ensemble and band rehearsal practice performance. Mixed ages from 8 to 80. Come along and see what we do on Friday evenings at the Shadwell centre from 6 to 8.45, and put your name on the waiting list. Brass, trumpets, trombones, flutes, clarinets etc. Beginners welcome. Under 18's pay £20 a term ten weeks. Concessions are available.

Udichi has a good record of organising and managing large and small-scale events and art festivals. It has also organised many art workshops and seminars in various educational institutions, libraries, community centres, youth clubs and housing estates.
